Was trying to make a left turn signal while turning onto a fairly crested road, without pretty much any noise I felt the back end start to transition, powered out and cranked a little oppo with one hand like a badass and then shifted into second.
Was very smooth and simple to control, I'm beginning to understand why people claim their S Drives don't last very long. That feeling is magnificent.
Picture isn't me, but you get the idea.

Dab of oppo and I'm away. The 225/40/18 Yokohama S Drive is a bitch, and I spanked it.

Nice, I'm running 235/40/17 in the rear. I think I'll enjoy my next Xcross a lot more.

Another thing to keep in mind is until you have a few best cycles through the tires, they don't make peak grip. That's why when I do tires for the first couple hundred miles I go gentle on them. And after that is up I'm more comfortable pushing them.

I've definitely put over 200 miles on them already, I commute on weekdays. They're nice, vast improvement over the Kumho Ecsta's the PO had on the stock rims.

I've hated every set of Kumhos I have had.....the last set I had lasted 10k miles.....no grip until like third or fourth gear.....my micelins were the same. And the fuzions I have no don't even break loose on s dig launch......they chirp and hook. Which is unexpectedfrom 70 dollar tires that are 225/40/18

The difference is that the Fuzions are designed to be more aggressive and not as prioritized to last as long. I burned through my set of kumhos in under 10k miles myself, although I drove them like a hooligan.

I tried not to drive like a hooligan on my Kumhos. And still I'd be on the highway go to pass someone and do a smokeshow at 50 or 60 mph.

We don't all have 500HP wrong wheel drive cars that can burnout from a roll at 50 or 60 :)

Is it too much to ask for good tired that hook and are cheap? Haha.
I'm sorry I like high horsepower wrong wheel drive. It'd more exciting than rear wheel drive if I'm honest. Just sucks I can't drift the cobalt. Can. Only drift the truck

I don't think so. I don't want to pay 100+ per tire for the next tire purchase I make.
No need to apologize, we all have our preferences and/or faults. Just had to rib you a little for it :). I was goofing off with a guy in an MS3 that did a burnout from 3rd gear at a roll the other day and was seriously impressed.
Drifting/handling characteristics are the only reason I tend to prefer RWD/AWD. Packaging, availability, and low cost are some serious benefits to having a FF setup.

The cobalt turbo actually has some impressive handling. Look st the ring times and search for the cobalt. It's low 8 minute I believe. All around it are subarus and what not. I love the way the car corners as well. It'd nice and balanced. And I have yet to go beyond the limit of it taking turns at 80mph that are marked much lower.

I won't even debate that they can perform, with the right setup I've seen them whoop ferrari F430s in autocross. I just prefer oversteer to understeer, and a solid plant and launch to wheel hop or consistent first gear burnouts.

Once I get my setup dialed I should have no wheel hop and do mean girl burnoutd.
The truck does some good but ours fir 50 horsepower on a good day

Time to commit and get some 255/40/18 up front.

On the Balt? That's what I run st the moment. Might go 10 millimeters wider in the next set of tires. I'm thinking solid trans and motor mounts along with a stiffer sghock

What do you have the Fuzions on? I'll need to roll my fenders to even get close to running that much rubber in the rear, and in the front it simply won't happen.

Oh ok, for alternating depending on what you're using it for at the time? Very snazzy.
